Will traders on BitMEX soon be able to trade crypto instruments through day-trading platform Sierra Chart? It looks that way, as the popular Seychelles registered cryptocurrency derivatives exchange announced today they are accepting requests to participate in a Sierra Chart beta testing on BitMEX.
As of now, users can get in touch with BitMEX support to have a trading account activated for beta testing.
While BitMEX supplies a web platform for users to trade cryptocurrency derivatives, the most popular of which is the company’s perpetual XBT/USD swap contract with up to 100x leverage, many traders seek the ability to trade with a more powerful desktop-based platform.
Sierra Chart is a professional trading platform for financial markets. The software supports manual, automated and simulated trading. Sierra Chart directly provides real-time forex, CFD (contract for difference), stock and futures data without having to use an external service.
The platform is widely known for its stable, open, and highly customizable design. The software is available as a service for either $24 a month for the basic version or $33 a month for its advanced version, payments in advance receive discounts up to a year.
BitMEX also features Bitcoin/Yuan, Bitcoin/Yen, Zcash, Ethereum, Monero, Ripple, Dash, and Litecoin futures.
The exchange also lists binary based options from time to time on events in the cryptocurrency industry. An example options contract the company has introduced included a binary bet back in March on whether the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF would be approved. The latest options contract launched was earlier this month, relating to whether Segregated Witness will be activated on the longest Bitcoin chain.
