Philip Moyer joins AlphaPoint
AlphaPoint, a financial technology company that powers digital asset networks and provides institutions a distributed ledger platform to digitize, trade, and manage any asset, announced that Philip Moyer has joined the company as a board advisor.
Mr. Moyer brings a wealth of enterprise technology and financial services experience to AlphaPoint as the company looks towards the future.
The AlphaPoint team stated: “Mr. Moyer’s deep technical expertise and his extensive domain knowledge of financial services will prove invaluable as we continue to scale the AlphaPoint Distributed Ledger Platform and pair it with the needs of our customers.”
Previously, Mr. Moyer has been the CEO of EDGAR Online (acquired by RR Donnelly), General Manager of Global and Enterprise Businesses at Microsoft (a role he held for 15 years), and Co-Founder of Cassiopae, a French securitization software company.
Moyer has managed over 15 Enterprise/FinTech businesses and has been an investor and board member in 11 companies. Previously, Mr. Moyer was a Managing Director at Safeguard Scientifics, where he built and managed the venture capital & private equity firm’s Financial Technology and Enterprise Cloud portfolios.
He is a frequent speaker and author on transparency in the financial services industry, including congressional testimony on the mortgage-backed security industry.
