BTC Gambling Game Variations: Apps & Casinos

For the better or worse, gambling has become a common way to spend your crypto savings on. And it’s even a way to multiply their assets for some, though it’s a dubious way to go about it. Crypto gambling attracted a lot of developers over the past 10 years, making it a field filled to the brim with different BTC gambling game variations.

Our job as customers now is only to pick the most preferable, comfortable way to gamble now. If you are a gambler, you are met with many options – not just in terms of individual providers, but also in a way of gambling itself. There are now mobile apps and casino providers.

Let’s discuss in depth what each of these has to offer.

Gambling Apps

In terms of mobile bets, most big options are actually sporting bets, such as Betonline, Sportbet and Ditobet. This sort of gambling is very popular with mobile users – it’s very comfortable, quick and comprehensive. You can simply place a bet on an outcome of a certain match and wait for results.

It can be done on the road, in your spare time or during lunch. You can also make a cheeky dice roll with a casino app, but many casino games require a higher degree of concentration than just clicking on a team you like. There are casino apps, naturally, and a lot of them, but the betting on sports is still a sizeable niche.

These advantages are neat, but there are also disadvantages in mobile gambling. Notably, you can’t download many of these off Google Play or App Store – you’ll have to visit app libraries or official websites. It’s sketchy, to say the least. You’ll have to either use mobile Web version or find apps hosted in official app markets.

Casino Providers

A typical casino provider is a website with a variety of different games. If there is a curious game, the developer can host it directly on blockchain and dedicate infrastructure to it. It doesn’t happen with all of them, but decentralized systems are generally more democratic in spirit, meaning there are many developers who do so.

Regardless of where you find these games, you don’t have to download anything to play them. They are available online on dedicated pages within a larger website. The websites themselves act very similar to the typical online casinos, but with a touch of decentralization.

For instance, the registration process is typically much faster and less painful. It’s anonymous and you don’t have to verify your person for a provider. There’s no need for it, really. Because of it, you can start playing within a minute. With non-crypto providers, it’s usually a matter of days, if not longer.

What Do I Pick?

It’s a matter of preference, but also security. Blockchain is generally more secure than most decentralized systems, but it’s not without fraud. The choice between mobile and web is an important one, but you should also take a look at the individual providers and see if they can be trusted.

Much can be deduced from the provider’s size, popularity and history. If it’s an old and big provider, take a fleeting look at their user reviews. If they are favorable, then it’s likely a reputable provider. There’s still a chance that they are not, naturally. That’s gambling.
