What Can You Spend Cryptocurrencies On In 2021?

Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin have been around for many years now but yet, there are still many people who aren’t using them. Have you ever considered using cryptocurrencies or do you even own any? The truth is that over time, more brands and companies around the world have started to accept cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin from their customers.

In this guide, we thought we would look at some of the things that you can spend cryptocurrencies on in 2021. Read on to hear more about this.

Gift Cards

If you are hoping to buy some gift cards for a friend or family member for their birthday, you can do so online with your Bitcoin. This is something that not many people realize, and it can actually be a great way of getting around retailers who don’t yet accept cryptocurrencies in-store or online. Sites like Gift Off allow you to purchase your gift cards from sites like Spotify, Amazon and so much more. This is definitely worth checking out if you have some crypto to spend.

Microsoft Stores

Did you know that some of the leading brands like Microsoft accept Bitcoin as payment? It doesn’t come as a surprise that such a large company like Microsoft would have invested in Bitcoin and now understand the benefits that it brings. If you have some to spend, you can use your cryptocurrencies on the Xbox and Windows stores. Why not spend some Bitcoin and buy some TV shows or apps from the stores? This is a great way to use up Bitcoin.

Online Casinos

The gaming industry is one that has grown quite notable over recent years with tech innovations and new games. Within the gaming industry, you have the online casino world which involves a lot of payments between customers and brands that need to be sure. So, these days, you might not be surprised to hear that some casinos will accept cryptocurrencies as a payment method. The next time you check out a gaming or casino website (https://www.mansioncasino.com/nz/ is a classic example) why not check if they accept Bitcoin or other cryptos?

Etsy

If you are looking for some handmade goods and want to shop with small retailers, Etsy can be a great site to use. This site is made up of various stores which feature a range of products from handmade cards to jewelry and furniture. According to reports, not all Etsy sellers will accept Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as a form of payment but there are some who will. All you need to do is a quick search and check out the profile of the seller. You might just find some who offer what you need and accept Bitcoin.

Online Retail

Finally, you’ll find that you can spend your cryptocurrencies at an increasing amount of online retail stores. This includes brands like Lush who first reported that they would accept cryptocurrency online back in July 2017. While you can use your Bitcoin to pay for your soap and bath bombs in person, you can easily jump onto the online store. Lush isn’t the only brand to offer this so make sure to have a look.

Get Shopping

If you aren’t yet someone who owns any Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, it might be time to start looking at this a bit more seriously. There are so many excellent businesses out there around the world that are now starting to realize the benefits of accepting this currency. Just make sure you do your research and check out some of the places that we mentioned above to spend it!
