Fantom, a DAG-based smart contract platform for real-time cryptocurrency payments has announced a new partnership with Fuiou Group, a China-based payment provider. Fuiou Group is based in Shanghai with 18 branch companies and businesses across 27 provinces in China. It is a third-party payment solutions company, providing both commercial and private clients with solutions in online payments, in-store payments, and prepaid cards, as well as others, processing close to five million digital payments per day with over 300,000 merchant partners.
Fuiou will integrate Fantom’s scalable cryptocurrency payment technology in their Payment Service, which currently handles over six million transactions per month and allows consumers to pay for goods sold on partner merchants websites across the globe. As a result, Fuiou’s users will be able to make and accept cryptocurrency payments alongside fiat.

Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology have both had a tremendous impact on payments but so far we have failed to see solutions that are affordable, scalable, and fast enough to meet the standards of our clients. Fantom’s revolutionary technology makes it possible to provide everyday cryptocurrency solutions to customers on a global scale, and we’re excited to partner with them to make that possible for our users in China and beyond.”[/perfectpullquote]
