Since its founding, SpicePay has been a cryptocurrency multi-service provider with exchange tools, wallet, and more recently, payment processing services. The company has informed today that through its experience in the past year, the payment service is what “it does best” – supporting secure, low-cost payment processing for merchants.
Thus, starting on December 7th, SpicePay will focus on merchant services and will stop its exchange services. The company is launching a new website, incorporating a wider variety of cryptocurrencies, and allowing EU merchants to enjoy all of the benefits of accepting blockchain payments with its updated platform.
Those who use the SpicePay wallet, that service will remain active. Users will still be able to use SpicePay to send and receive bitcoins. However, they will no longer be able to buy or sell them.
