Leading Polish bitcoin exchange BitBay completes major 3.0 upgrade

BitBay, a bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2014 in Katowice, Poland has announced that the migration from BitBay 2.0 to their new 3.0 platform has been successful. The second version of the exchange platform was launched in 2015.

The upgrade received a major boost in design, speed, and overall user experience. The BitBay 3.0 update has been in the works since the beginning of 2016.

The Polish-based exchange offers crypto-assets including BTC, BCC, ETH, LTC, DASH, LSK, and GAME.

New APIs for both REST and Websocket will be available as well. The company is currently working with developers who have reported their readiness to collaborate with their suggestions in regard to the new APIs. BitBay’s goal is to provide users with APIs that will meet all expectations.

Due to the updates, a note of caution for users is that deposits addresses will be changed. Transfers sent to previous addresses will be possible up to the 2nd of October. For this reason, immediately after launching 3.0 platform, users are highly recommended to log in and download new addresses for cryptocurrency deposits. Though delays are possible, this is very important for users.

Sylwester Suszek, CEO BitBay says:

“BitBay is a financially and technologically-oriented company which has achieved international success with Polish capital.”

The BitBay team said: “We hope you will enjoy our new platform. This, what you can see today, is just the beginning of what we have prepared for you. Migration was necessary to enable us to introduce the next amazing products.”
