Bitcoin ATM operator EasyBit announced today that it has collaborated with Bitcoin Vietnam, the Southeast Asian country’s most popular bitcoin exchange, in order to operate EasyBit’s bitcoin ATM machines throughout Vietnam.

Michael Dupree, Jr., CEO of EasyBit said:

“We are very excited to partner with Bitcoin Vietnam to bring two-way Bitcoin ATMs to Vietnam. We provide a safe, easy to use, quick, and compliant way to buy and sell bitcoin- giving a low-cost alternative to sending and receiving money to and from abroad.”

The first bitcoin ATM of the partnership is already in operation in Ho Chi Minh City and three additional units are currently en route to Vietnam. The Ho Chi Minh City ATM already installed and operating runs from 10 AM to 1 AM at night, 7 days a week at Italiani’s home-made pizza restaurant.

Nguyen Tran Bao Phuong, CEO of Bitcoin Vietnam stated:

“We are glad to team up with such a strong and experienced partner in the BTM (Bitcoin ATM) operator space in order to bring the benefits of this new technology to the Vietnamese market. While still in a nascent stage, fintech is an increasingly hot topic in Vietnam – and we see this as one additional and important step in order to strengthen our position as market leader in the digital currency exchange landscape in Vietnam.”

Recently, EasyBit also announced the opening of six new bitcoin ATM locations in the United States including three in Georgia and one each in Texas, Hawaii, and Utah.
