Is it too late to invest in crypto?

Never before has cryptocurrency garnered such attention. With a dramatic rally in 2021, many would-be investors are left wondering if it is too late to invest in crypto. Whilst it is understandable that there may be a sense of the fact that the ship has already sailed, the truth is that no it is not too late, and nor will it ever be. Okay, so that’s a short and sharp response and there needs to be some justification for that way of thinking, but when time is dedicated to learning crypto, it becomes apparent why it will always be a sound investment. Still not convinced? Read on and let us explain all.

A record breaking year

For many who feel that it is too late to invest in crypto, their feelings and thoughts are based upon the ground that the likes of Bitcoin and Ethereum have made in the first quarter of 2021. It can not have escaped anyone’s attention that both of these cryptos have reached record highs as we’ve continued through 2021. It was March that saw Bitcoin hit the dizzy heights of $58,145 and in April Ethereum broke the £2,000 mark for the first time.

These astonishing values may leave potential investors believing that the price point at which you can enter investing is now too high. By researching crypto you will soon see that investing is open to everyone: with the opportunity to purchase partial coins and tokens, there is no need to part with $50,000 plus to start your investment journey.

The year Bitcoin went mainstream

Of course, when looking at cryptocurrencies, there are more out there than just Bitcoin, but this one happens to be the biggest and most valuable. 2021 has seen it enter the mainstream with a string of investors and major companies such as Microsoft and Tesla putting their money there. In the US, PayPal has even started to accept Bitcoin as a payment method which provides further evidence that Bitcoin is now commonly accepted and is part of the future.

This may be a factor that discourages everyday newcomers from entering the world of crypto. The appeal of all of this was original in that it was nothing to do with the big players in society. However, rather than suggesting that it is now too late to enter this field, the fact that Bitcoin has gone mainstream shows that there has never been a better time to invest: mainstream acceptance will only push the price one way.

Why the time to invest is now?

A certain mindset will always discourage people from any form of investment and it is that mindset that must change. Those looking back to the early days of Bitcoin would have convinced themselves that they had missed the boat when its value jumped from $0.0008 to $0.08.

Or perhaps the 2011 increase from $1 to $32 would have done the trick. If not the rise from $13.40 to $220 in 2013 would have surely been the end!

Yes, investors now have missed out on the lower price points of times gone by, but the truth is that more increases are around the corner with more record-breaking values being predicted. Now is the time to get in on crypto rather than waiting for the next increase and saying that you have missed out again.
