Coinbase, the US-headquartered bitcoin/cryptocurrency exchange, announced today support for ATOM, the native token of the Cosmos Network.
General availability for the token follows the listing of ATOM on Coinbase Pro, the company’s advanced exchange platform. Users of Coinbase can now buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store ATOM.
Cosmos is an ecosystem of blockchains that can scale and interoperate with each other. The Cosmos framework features a Byzantine Fault-Tolerant (BFT) consensus algorithm developed by Tendermint.
