CEX.IO lists USDT markets with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Litecoin

CEX.IO, a bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange company, announced it has expanded its Tether market, with the launch of two new trading options: Ripple (XRP)-USDT and Litecoin (LTC)-USDT.

This comes after first initially listing Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) USDT markets.

Eventually, the CEX.IO team said that most of the cryptocurrencies supported on CEX.IO will be available for trading with Tether (USDT).

USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar at a 1:1 ratio and is designed to be protected from the volatility of cryptocurrency. Thus, many traders use this coin for arbitrage and safe-haven purposes.

The exchange is offering a 0% maker fee and a 0.1% taker fee on all USDT markets until the end of 2019.

Back on July 11th, CEX.IO officially received a Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) license issued by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC).
