Peerplays launches grant program to develop its blockchain ecosystem

Peerplays is a decentralized global betting platform, disrupting the global gaming industry with a new paradigm of fairness, transparency, speed, and security.

Peerplays Grants

The Peerplays Blockchain Standards Association (PBSA), a non-profit organization, established in 2016, that supports the development of provably fair gaming on the Peerplays blockchain, has announced a brand new grant program for developers to help build out the Peerplays ecosystem.

The total pot for Peerplays Grants will be the equivalent of $1 million USD. The grants will be dispersed as a combination of BTC, native PPY token, and development & marketing resources.

Although Peerplays Grants does not bias against applications from businesses or developers who may wish to profit from the fruits of Peerplays Grants-funded projects, Peerplays Grants should NOT be considered a funding platform for new business endeavors. Only those applicants creating an open source public project – for public benefit – will be considered.

According to PBSA, project ideas can include:

Grants are disbursed on a case by case basis, with preference given to projects with the greatest chance at “mass success” on the Peerplays blockchain.

Peerplays open source code can be found at github.com/peerplays-network. More information and the grant application can also be found here.

Earlier this year, PBSA launched BookiePro, a fully decentralized sports betting exchange.
