Upxide exchange begins Telegram (GRAM) token sale in South Korea

GRAM is a native utility token of TON, the new blockchain network from Telegram

Upside, a crypto services provider including cryptocurrency exchange Upxide and subsidiary of Tokyo listed company Metaps Plus, announced today it has acquired marketing rights for Telegram Messenger’s GRAM token sale in partnership with Liquid, the cryptocurrency exchange run by QUOINE Pte. Ltd.

The token sale is live now and will be held from July 12th to July 25th, available only to Upxide exchange customers in South Korea.

Telegram is a cloud-based mobile and desktop messaging app with 260 million users globally. Telegram raised USD 1.7 billion in 2018 through a token sale that was limited to accredited investors to build TON (Telegram Open Network) with native GRAM utility token.

Metaps Plus was the first South Korean company to acquire a blockchain-related patent in Japan back in September 2018 and also just filed a patent for KYC blockchain technology in May 2019. Metaps Plus is committed to expanding the versatility of blockchain technologies in Korea and Japan.
