Hodl Hodl, a non-custodial bitcoin exchange, today has officially announced, its latest project “Predictions by Hodl Hodl” is available now on mainnet.
The Predictions project allows users to predict the outcome of any event in the world and earn bitcoin from other users if the prediction was correct.
Predictions by Hodl Hodl is a marketplace where users can go and create the prediction, and conduct a contract with any user that accepts the offer.
Hodl Hodl provides Prediction users with:
- Offer desk – a place where users can find others predictions, or create their own.
- Escrow – for each contract, Hodl Hodl generates two multisig addresses, where the funds are being stored safely during the prediction contract, with two out of three keys needed for release — and when the event happens, the user that predicted the outcome correctly receives all the funds.
- Resolving Disputes – in case of a disagreement between the two parties on the prediction contract’s outcome, Hodl Hodl intervenes and resolves the dispute.
The Hodl Hodl team is launching the product with working base functionality , everyone will be able to create predictions and complete contracts, and the mobile version is also ready.
Yet, the development team is already in the process of improving the above-mentioned services along with working on many new features and updates which will be added in the future, such as:
