Robinhood Markets, a Silicon Valley-based stock trading app company, today announced that New Yorkers can now officially buy cryptocurrencies on Robinhood Crypto.
At the beginning of the year, Robinhood Crypto received the BitLicense and a money transmitter license to operate in New York.
Currently, users can invest in seven cryptocurrencies on Robinhood Crypto: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, and Dogecoin.
With New York, Robinhood Crypto is now available in 39 states, including Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
