iBank launches limited edition Cao Jun designed XPASS cards powered by Pundi X and IOST

Pundi X, the blockchain payment point-of-sale provider, and iBank Digital, a Huobi Cloud supported bitcoin and crypto exchange, recently announced the world’s first limited edition Cao Jun designed iBank XPASS card that is made possible with iBank Digital and Art Impact Foundation exclusive collaboration with the world-renowned artist Cao Jun.

The designs of the iBank XPass are based on three of Cao Jun’s paintings “Purple Pavilion and Cyan Cloud,” “Once in a Millennium,” and “Spring’s News.”

An initial pre-release of 4,000 limited editions of these iBank XPASS cards will be available in New York during Consensus Week 2019.

Eventually, a total of  10,000 limited edition Cao Jun designed cards will be produced.

Other than appealing towards avid Cao Jun art collectors with its exclusive Cao Jun designs, the limited edition iBank XPASS card functions like a standard XPASS card where users can transact with the XPOS, store their digital assets or pair the card with their XWallet for more robust use.

Further, iBank Digital also announced that it is launching the industry’s first blockchain platform that will collateralize rare, limited edition collectibles such as the collectible Cao Jun gift cards onto the IOST blockchain represented as digital assets.

“We are very excited to announce this collaboration in the blockchain space with the renowned artist Cao Jun. This partnership signifies a major move into the world of distributed ledger technology for the fine arts industry and an acceptance by the market that ownership of rare collectibles can be represented and transacted via blockchain technology.”

David Yoo, Managing Director of iBank Digital

1,000 Cao Jun designed iBank XPASS cards will be donated to Cao Jun’s art fans simultaneous during this global launch with part of the proceeds to be donated to a Charitable Organization. Donation records can also be verified on the IOST Blockchain.
