Jubiter launches new prepaid bitcoin card for EU users

Jubiter, an Estonian based bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of its new Jubiter prepaid Visa card. The Jubiter Prepaid Visa will initially allow Jubiter users to load their card with bitcoin or litecoin. Once loaded, funds will be converted to Euro and can be used anywhere in the world Visa is accepted.

The prepaid card will make it easy for Jubiter users to utilize their bitcoin and litecoin in the real world, and in real time. The Jubiter team “hopes this service will help provide the accessibility so needed in the cryptocurrency industry.”

In the coming weeks, Jubiter users will be able to apply for a Jubiter prepaid Visa. The application process is designed to be straightforward. Users with a verified Jubiter account will be given preference when the cards are released. If you already have a Jubiter account, and you are in the EU, you are halfway to getting a card. Users not verified can visit their account and confirm their ID and upload a recent utility bill. Once launched, those users will be able to instantly order a card as well.

This introductory program will be available to 27 EU countries with later plans to expand the offering in many countries around the world. Jubiter was built to provide an accessible platform for new users in the cryptocurrency sphere. At launch, Jubiter focused on a cryptocurrency wallet that is both user-friendly and immune to attacks. Jubiter’s crypto wallet provides both secure offline storage and two-factor authentication.
