Ethereum Foundation Grant Program unveils next wave of receipts

The Ethereum Foundation Grants Program, an ongoing and continually improving experiment into how to best invest in the Ethereum community’s resources for the highest long-term impact on the Ethereum ecosystem has announced its Wave 5 recipients. The Grants Program began in early 2018, focusing on scalability efforts. This focus later expanded to include security, usability, privacy, and education.

Now, in early 2019, the Foundation says it is returning to its core focus to support critical Eth2.0 and layer 2 scaling efforts. Though, the Foundation still remains open to any grant proposal which addresses urgent, important and unique improvements which further the Ethereum vision.

See below the first grantees of 2019:

“While we generally aim to increase the transparency of the Grants Program, we have chosen not to include grant award amounts or a wishlist. We have made these decisions because we do not want applicants to be prejudiced by previous wishlists and award amounts. Instead, we seek innovative ideas and detailed budgets.”
