Crypto.com transferring MCO tokens to new address for integration with new custody partner

The team of Crypto.com, the bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment application, announced today that in preparation for the onboarding of their first selected custody partner, Crypto.com will be moving native MCO tokens (15,793,851.2682436 MCO) to a new address on Friday, December 28.

The move is being made in an effort to enhance the security and safety of customer and company crypto assets. Crypto.com has been assessing institutional-grade crypto asset custody solutions to enhance the storage of its assets, in particular, a solution with Hardware Security Module (HSM) multi-sig cold storage capability.

The team says they will make further announcements regarding other cold storage custody solutions over the course of 2019.
