Blockchain 3.0 platform ArcBlock joins Amazon Web Services Partner Network

ArcBlock, the creator of a blockchain 3.0 ecosystem, and decentralized application development platform announced today it has strengthened its existing relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS) by expanding its blockchain platform and ecosystem into the global AWS Partner Network (APN).

With this new partnership, ArcBlock will be in position to provide blockchain-enabled services including training, custom blockchain solutions and introduction of their open development platform that includes several firsts on the APN network – ArcBlock’s innovative Open Chain Access Protocol (OCAP) and OCAP Playground – as well as combining blockchain technologies with ready-made cloud infrastructure that utilize cloud computing and a microservice-based architecture.

The AWS Partner Network is a global program focused on bringing successful AWS-based solutions to the open market and ArcBlock is one of only several blockchain early adopters to qualify for technology partner status and benefit from this status.

“Our team is proud to have earned APN Technology Partner status. We will be continuing to invest in our relationship with AWS as one of our cloud partners as they have been a leader in the cloud infrastructure space for many years and help ensure that our customers and users are able to meet diverse scale, security and development requirements all while using ArcBlock’s platform to greatly simplify the entire development lifecycle for the blockchain-enabled apps and services.”

Robert Mao, CEO, and Founder of ArcBlock

OCAP-enabled services on AWS represent a huge innovation for developers by removing the typical vendor lock-in they see today with blockchain technologies and giving developers the power and freedom to evaluate, test, deploy and manage different blockchain protocols seamlessly and without having to change their code. OCAP services include ready-made infrastructure, blockchain data and there is no installation required.

Starting today, AWS-enabled OCAP Playground is available giving developers a ready-made platform that uses nothing more than a browser-based interactive console to write their code once and then utilize it to across one, two or different/multiple blockchain technologies simultaneously in the console window.

OCAP Playground’s interactive console is based on GraphQL and provides instant access to real-time Ethereum and Bitcoin data, cloud infrastructure, and has ready-made playbooks to help developers get started immediately.

By joining APN, AWS has acknowledged ArcBlock’s capabilities to build, deploy and operate proven blockchain environments on the cloud. To qualify, ArcBlock had to complete a comprehensive review process that included demonstrating expertise and capabilities through customer case studies and industry and business references. As a company, ArcBlock has invested in cloud technologies and this partnership is an example of the significant investments ArcBlock has made to develop the technical expertise and resources to build blockchain-enabled services on AWS.

ArcBlock also recently launched a Technical Learning Series for developers and organizations including in-depth training on services like AWS Kinesis, AWS Athena, Smart Contracts, and AWS Data Pipeline Services.
