CEX.IO passes Bitcoin network fee savings down to users

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchange CEX.IO today reviewed some monthly changes concerning fees and limits for users. The updates implemented are a fee decrease in BTC withdrawals along with Crypto Capital and SEPA transaction fee and limit improvements.

First, since March 14th, BTC withdrawals have been performed with the fee of 0.0005 BTC. The exchange said that because of the decrease in the Bitcoin blockchain transaction fees, its been able to pass the savings along to users.

Changed Fees and Limits for Crypto Capital

CEX.IO also advertised the new fee for Crypto Capital USD withdrawals. Since mid-March, it has been set to 1%. Additionally, users with Verified and Verified Plus account types will take advantage of new minimum withdrawal limits. It will be only 100 USD, EUR, or GBP. The maximum for such withdrawals will be unlimited. See the information on limits in the following table:

Corporate $/€/£ 10,000 – unlimited

Lower Limits for SEPA Withdrawals in EUR

Another update is SEPA withdrawal limits and commissions, which have been lowered. Since mid-March, the fee charged for Euro withdrawals with SEPA has been only €1. In the table below, you can find current limits on SEPA withdrawals:

Verified €100 – €300,000
Verified Plus €100 – unlimited
Corporate €10,000 – unlimited

SEPA payment tool is a convenient, fast, and reliable option for users from most European countries as it allows the customers to receive large amounts of their funds on their bank accounts faster as compared to other payment methods. SEPA withdrawals on CEX.IO are available only for Europe and the users with Verified account type.
