Vice coin powering Playboy TV starts trading after ICO raises 26,927 ETH

The Vice Industry Token (VIT), the decentralized blockchain platform and cryptographic token for the adult industry, has today started trading on Stocks.exchange, just days after its token sale – in which 26,927 ETH was raised.

The VIT token sale concluded last week after the major announcement during the sale that VIT would be used to power Playboy TV. The token uses blockchain technology to completely transform the monetization model that exists in the adult industry today. VIT measures and captures genuine interactions and uses this to reward content creators, curators and viewers.

“We are delighted to welcome all early adopters and service providers of the VIT blockchain into VIT’s decentralized community, including Stocks.exchange, with their rapid support of the VIT token,” said Stuart Duncan, CEO of the Vice Industry Token Inc.

As part of its development roadmap, the Vice Industry Token raised 26,927 ETH through its public token sale. It will use these funds to develop the blockchain technology that underpins VIT, with the launch of the Vice Industry Token video portal platform scheduled for June 2018.

“Our next step is to launch the world’s premier decentralized social network and media hub for video consumption. To this effect, our next steps are to appoint 21 VIT witnesses to join in securing and verifying the VIT Blockchain Network. Witnesses play a very similar role on the VIT Blockchain network as Miners on the Bitcoin network. There are at least 21 witnesses that will be elected by majority vote of token holders for maintaining the integrity of the VIT network’ added Duncan.
