Mingo and ICOBox announce partnership for ICO

Mingo has signed up with ICOBox, the premier provider of SaaS solutions for conducting ICOs, to receive their ICO marketing services. Based out of Ireland, Mingo is the first contact-centric multi-messenger platform with contact merging across multiple messenger services. The Mingo project consists of the all-in-one MingoChat platform and MingoWallet that simplifies transferring cryptocurrency among users with the addition of incentivizing eGaming.

The core product, MingoChat, is a free multi-channel messenger platform that synchronizes all your messenger app contacts in one place. It solves the issue of finding and continuing various conversations and simplifies them for real-time cross-platform connectivity. MingoChat organizes your message threads by contact, consolidating all your conversations across applications in one chat. This means no more app switching to continue conversations. This unprecedented aggregation will make Mingo the go-to app for multiple messenger users.

MingoChat already has several supported channels including Facebook Messenger, Twitter, Discord, Skype, Steam, and more. Future targeted channels include WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, Instagram, Line, Renren and LinkedIn amongst others.

Mingo’s familiar and simple to use interface ensures that users will find value in the core app as they are slowly introduced to the Mingo platform.

The built-in MingoWallet will be used for holding MingoCoins. This new crypto wallet makes transferring cryptocurrency between users a simple, straightforward procedure. Mingo is a guided and reward-driven experience. As users become more familiar with cryptocurrency fundamentals, more features will unlock. Mingo aims to become the first app with a clear plan and the ability to reach the general population. In addition to this, the wallet will include a cross-cryptocurrency transaction function through an inter-ledger protocol. It will feature near instant transactions with lower transaction fees through the Lightning and Plasma networks.

The MingoCoin is a utility token. The Mingo platform will offer various uses for the token, such as paying for goods and services within the platform and aims to bring lower transaction fees when users make payments to each other. MingoCoin is a standard ERC-20 Ethereum token.

At the heart of the MingoCoin is the concept of gamification. The first plugin available is the eSports platform, MingoPlay, where users can challenge each other in skill-based games to win tokens. The possibilities for other plugins are endless, including everything from gaming to commercial and charitable organizations. Built on the behavioral science principle of Trigger-Action-Benefit, Mingo will bring users into the cryptocurrency world through a simplified, gamified interface.

Mingo Co-Founder and CEO Joe Arthur stated that “Mingo platform is a very powerful solution to a complex messaging environment. Currently, we have seven working messenger channels, and we look forward to a successful ICO so that we can develop the platform to include all available channels. This is why we joined with ICOBox, as they will help bring our platform to the wider community and fine-tune our marketing strategy as we prepare for our ICO.”

Mike Raitsyn, ICOBox’s Co-Founder, added “We recognized that Mingo has a fresh approach to cryptocurrency by adding the element of gaming. Putting this together with their messenger and contacts consolidation platform – Mingo offers something unique. Right now, when new ICOs are starting every day, a robust, skilled PR campaign is a must, and we look forward to offering Mingo our services.”
