GMO Coin, a Japanese bitcoin exchange started up earlier this year, which has since received the Japan FSA license for cryptocurrency exchange operation has notified today they will be adding support for Ripple (XRP), confirming earlier plans.
Only now we know the exact date, which will be on Wednesday, November 29th. Ripple (XRP) was the last planned major cryptocurrency to get listed by the company. In the last months, they added support for BCH, ETH, ETC, and LTC.
GMO Coin stated they will launch a promotional campaign commemorating the start of Ripple support. The exchange team will announce the details of this promotion after planned server maintenance to ensure smooth running on the day that XRP will go live. The maintenance period will be over after 16:00 Tokyo time.
