Centra joins leading blockchain trade association and partners with BitGo

The blockchain company behind the highly anticipated cryptocurrency debit card, the Centra Card, has officially become an executive committee member of the Digital Chamber of Commerce, a Washington DC-based blockchain advocacy group. Centra Tech joins the ranks of over 100 influential blockchain companies and Fortune 500 companies that share the Chamber’s mission of “promoting the acceptance and use of digital assets and blockchain-based technologies.”

It was also announced today that Centra has now partnered with BitGo for the provision of enterprise wallet solutions for its global cryptocurrency prepaid card and wallet services.

The Digital Chamber of Commerce’s decision to elect Centra as a member of the executive board is the yet another success in Centra’s efforts in bringing cryptocurrency into the real world. Chamber members include major blockchain companies such as Bittrex, Bitstamp, Blockstream, and others as well as Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, and KPMG. The Digital Chamber of Commerce is the leading trade organization that representing blockchain interest and seeks to advance the adoption of digital assets and blockchain technology through education, advocacy, and working directly with policymakers and regulatory agencies in Washington DC.

The move showcases Centra’s engagement to be a major player in advancing blockchain and cryptocurrency at the institutional level. Centra will now directly take part in the Chamber’s efforts to help influence positive policy that will foster cryptocurrency and blockchain innovation. It is the latest move in a series of big developments for the Florida-based blockchain company. Centra recently joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, began shipping its very first Centra debit cards, and released the beta version of its digital assets wallet (Centra Wallet 2.0) for iOS and Android.

The Centra Team plans to unveil the live alpha of their digital trading marketplace, cBay, later this month.
