Edge (formerly Airbitz) the bitcoin wallet and security platform has announced a partnership with WageCan, a company based out of Asia providing a payment card for blockchain assets via web and mobile apps. WageCan will soon be another plugin inside Edge’s legacy bitcoin wallet known as AirBitz. WageCan will also be integrated into the newly developed Edge Wallet which is still in beta while planning to be released in app stores when its deemed production ready.
The WageCan card allows users to spend their blockchain assets by debit card and also withdrawal cash at ATMs. Users will also be able to receive cryptocurrency payments to the Edge/AirBitz address linked to their card and some may be able to qualify for a card with no spending limits.
