Two weeks ago, BitPay, the Atlanta-based bitcoin payment company launched beta support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) within its open-source Copay wallet. Last week, the firm also released a version of its unique block explorer for the Bitcoin Cash network. Some good news today for BitPay wallet users because the company announced that the just-released BitPay and Copay application version 3.8.2 is now out of beta and has BCH support available in the BitPay wallet.
Users who had a Bitcoin (BTC) balance in your wallet before the August 1st Bitcoin Cash hard fork already have a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) balance. User wallet private keys correspond to their BCH balance equivalent to the BTC balance held at the time of the August 1st hard fork.
