Litecoin added to Japanese exchange bitbank, XRP and ETH to follow

With Litecoin (LTC) interest perking back up breaking out of its long-time consolidation slumber, Japanese exchange Bitbank has officially announced the listing of the digital currency to begin in late April.

The exchange said that with new laws enacted earlier this month in Japan honoring digital currency as a form of payment, interest is gaining but finding the optimal price for such altcoins can be tricky. Bitbank looks to solve that problem for Japanese users.

The exchange also officially announced that Ripple (XRP) and Ethereum (ETH) will list starting in May.

Bitbank stated:

“The new Bitbank exchange service started in March is a virtual currency exchange premised on multi-asset availability. As such, we designed it to meet the needs of our associate brokers and bitbank.cc customers as much as possible.”

“The first altcoin addition is Litecoin, and after that, we plan to build an environment in which customers can access various assets according to their needs including Ripple and Ethereum starting next month.”
