South Korean crypto exchange Coinone increases tick size and withdrawal limits

Coinone Inc. a South Korea-based bitcoin exchange founded back in 2014 implemented some changes on user account specifications today by increasing both trading tick size and also increasing Korean won (KRW) withdrawal limits.

The company informed users that to implement the above changes, maintenance will be taking place on the exchange from 4:00 am to 6:00 am on April 5th in order to upgrade the company servers.

Coinone exchange services including transactions, deposit/withdrawal, API/chat, etc. will all be reviewed in order to optimize performance. The exchange will not be accessible during this time.

Account changes can be viewed below:

1. Change of tick size reflects the increase in trading volume:

BTC: 100 won to 500 won
ETH: 10 won to 50 won

Coinone noted that as the price changed to the call price unit, the unit of the existing collection is also changed (BTC: 5,000 won/ETH: 500 won). The exchange informed users to check their API and make sure the quotation system is changed as above.

2. KRW withdrawal limit increased:

Before the limit was 30M KRW per day and now is 100M KRW (about $90,000 USD) per day, plus 20M per transaction.
